TD-2200 True Density Meter: Precise Measurement, Opening up a new Dimension of Materials Science

In materials science and industrial applications, accurate determination of the true density of materials is key to understanding their physical and chemical properties. True density, which refers to the mass per unit of real volume, is an important parameter for evaluating the properties of porous materials, catalysts, powders, and nanomaterials.

As an ultra light and porous solid material, aerogel has attracted much attention due to its extremely low density and excellent thermal insulation performance. However, the true density measurement of aerogels has always been a technical difficulty in the industry.

The Beijing Builder TD-2200 true density meter adopts advanced vacuum technology and gas displacement method, combined with the characteristics of helium molecules, to provide users with high-precision and high repeatability true density measurement solutions. Based on Archimedes' principle and Bohr's law (PV=nRT), the true volume of the sample is calculated by measuring the changes in gas pressure inside the sample testing chamber. This method utilizes the low adsorption and high permeability of helium molecules to ensure the accuracy of measurement results. The instrument accurately measures the true volume of the sample through high-precision pressure sensors and temperature compensation systems, and then calculates the true density.

1. High Precision and High Repeatability

The TD-2200 adopts high-precision pressure sensors and temperature compensation technology to ensure the stability and accuracy of test data. The instrument can accurately measure sample volumes of less than 1 mL. During sample cycling testing, the repeatability of any two adjacent test results is better than ± 0.02%, with a resolution of up to 0.0001 g/ml. This means that users do not need to take the average of multiple tests to obtain accurate data, and each measurement can provide reliable results.

2. Excellent pParallelism Accuracy

The TD-2200 is equipped with two completely independent 316L stainless steel analysis chambers, each of which can perform independent testing synchronously or asynchronously. When two sample chambers test the same sample simultaneously, the parallelism error is less than ± 0.005 g/cm ³. This design not only improves testing efficiency, but also ensures data consistency and reliability.

3. Intelligent Operation and Convenience

TD-2200 is equipped with intelligent software that supports automated sample processing and data collection. Users only need to set the parameters, and the instrument can automatically complete the test and output the results. The intuitive user interface and detailed instructions enable beginners to quickly get started, greatly reducing the difficulty of operation and learning costs.
